A lot of people asks about “the best laptop“. I firmly think that there is no “best laptop”, because each user has different needs, but this is still a good question. What is, in your opinion, the best laptop? It has to be a very powerful one, but still highly portable. For me, and based on specs (sadly there are not many review of this laptop), it currently is the Dell Precision M4400.
- It is a FAST laptop: can be configured with up to an Intel Core 2 Extreme X9100 (3,06 GHz) and 320 GB 7200 rpm hard drives, and SSD are also available. The graphics card, an Nvidia Quadro FX 7700M is the professional equivalent to a GeForce 9600M GT.
- It is not heavy: at 15.4″ and 2.7 kg, it is reasonably portable.
- It is highly configurable: you can adapt it to your needs and budget. You can get screens from 1280×800 to 1920×1200, a wide array of available storage options…
