HP has released the successor of the HP Mini Note PC 2133, the HP Mini 1000, that jumps to the 10″ format and to the Intel Atom processors.

The HP Mini 1000 can already be purchased at the HP Home & Home Office Store from 399 $, and you can read a few reviews: at Laptop Magazine and PC Magazine, in addition to the “hands on” at Engadget, that shows some pictures of one of the operating system options, Ubuntu-Linux based (the other option is Windows XP).
