Maybe you are aware of our benchmark collecting effort. I recently got benchmarks of a Dell Inspiron 1545 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 and was very impressed by the results: in the Crysis GPU benchmark at 1024×768 and Medium settings, this card more than doubles the score of a Mobility 3450 and is close (within 80%) to a 9650M GT. Not bad for the bottom end of the 4000 series! I’d love to have a 4530 and 4570 to compare!

On Notebookcheck says that could be DDR2, DDR3 and GDDR3. What kind is on Dell 1545?

It’s not a gaming graphics card, but can be OK depending on the game.
dell 1545 is having 256 mb of video memory and can play the games very well.

Of course! It can run those games at a decent framerate and with nice settings.
How abput with a DDR2 Ram
I don’t have any numbers right now, but a 25-30% slower is not uncommon.

That card fulfills the minimum system requirements of FIFA 10 but not the recommended ones, so you are probably OK at low-medium settings. There are lots of racing games, you can play most of them but not at high settings, don’t forget the 4330 is a low-end card.

There are different versions of the same card with different kinds of memory. DDR2 is the slowest one and, in my opinion, should not be used for graphics cards, but it’s the cheapest one. DDR3 and GDDR3 are faster, and GDDR5 is the fastest one. The kind of memory in the card impacts performance more than the amount of memory (for laptops you are usually OK with 512 MB).
